Highlights

He represented Japan in rugby sevens at the 2009 World Cup in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He was part of the Japanese teams that won gold at the Asian Games in 2006 and 2014, and competed in a number of legs during the 2014/15 World Series. He served as acting head coach of the Japan women's sevens team following the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. He was appointed to the role on a permanent basis in December 2021.
