Team Overview

General
Singapore made their only appearance in the Asian Games women's water polo tournament in 2014. They defeated Hong Kong, China 12-4 in Incheon, but lost their other four round-robin matches to end the tournament ranked fifth out of six teams.

The Singaporean team won gold at the 2011 South East Asian Games and claimed silver at the four editions of the event to feature water polo between 2015 and 2023. They finished last of eight teams on their only World Cup appearance in 2014.

Singapore won one of their six matches at the 2023 Asian Water Polo Championships in Singapore, finishing fourth and last in a round-robin tournament that also featured Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Thailand. At the 2022 edition of the tournament they beat the Republic of Korea 18-4 to secure victory in the fifth place play-off.
