LEAVING SCHOOL
After graduating from middle school in 2020, she decided to turn professional and join the Korean Air women's team instead of entering high school. "At the end of the day, I had to compete against players at club level who trained all day long, but I always began training after around 16:00. I realised more and more that I was not receiving sufficient training. When I told my father that I would like to focus on the sport completely as soon as I graduated from middle school, my father disapproved of the idea at first. However, I kept persuading him after school by saying that I wanted to hold off on my studies, not to quit, so he supported my decision in the end."
