Her husband Prima Simpatiaji has represented Indonesia in soft tennis, and won three gold medals at the 2011 South East Asian Games in Indonesia. She took up the sport at age 16 in Jakarta, Indonesia. "Initially I only played soft tennis for fun. But then my father invited me to a training session. It turned out that the training session was a selection for the 2011 South East Asian Games. I was actually surprised that I got selected.
