Team Overview

General
Nepal are making their Asian Games debut at the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou. The team did qualify for the 2010 Games in Guangzhou, which was the first time women's kabaddi had been included in the programme, but they were unable to compete at the tournament.

The Nepalese team have enjoyed success at regional level, sharing the bronze medal at the South Asian Games in 2010 and 2016, and finishing as runners-up at the 2019 edition.
