Kabaddi - Team Republic of Korea

The Republic of Korea have competed at all three editions of the Asian Games since women's kabaddi was added to the programme in 2010, finishing joint-fifth on each occasion.

Prior to 2018 their sole victory came in the form of a walkover after the Nepalese team were unable to compete at the 2010 Games. They lost their other two group matches in 2010, and both of their group matches in 2014. The team showed marked improvement at the 2018 Games in Indonesia, securing wins over Chinese Taipei and Bangladesh, with their only loss coming against eventual gold medallists, the Islamic Republic of Iran. They narrowly missed out on a place in the knockout stage of the tournament after finishing third in their group, posting the same record as the Chinese Taipei but missing out on point difference.
