FROM ROWING TO CANOEING
She began training in rowing at the Xiamen Water Sports Centre in the People's Republic of China in 2012, before switching to canoe sprint in 2014. "At first, my balance was not good and I was very uncomfortable in canoe sprint. The boat often turned upside down and because the training boat was made of wood, it left a lot of bruises on my body." (Sanming Daily, 27 Jan 2022)
