In November 2020 he underwent heel surgery in Germany. While doctors were removing a heel spur, they discovered extra bones and had to cut his Achilles tendon in order to operate. He returned to training eight weeks later. (varzesh3, 06 Dec 2020, 07 Nov 2020, 27 Oct 2020)
