Hong Kong, China are making their Asian Games debut in men's 3x3 basketball at the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou.

The senior Hong Kong, China team have made three appearances at the Asia Cup. They competed at the inaugural event in 2013, and also took part in the 2018 and 2023 editions of the tournament. In 2023 in Singapore, they did not progress past the qualifying draw after recording a win against Brunei Darussalam and losses to the Islamic Republic of Iran and Malaysia in their group.
